  • NO Alcoholic beverages 48 hours before procedure

AFTER

  • Wash your hands thoroughly before touching the tattooed area.

  • Apply a small rice grain size of A&D healing ointment with a cotton tip 2-3 times a day till scabbing fully dissipates. Scabbing can last longer than others depending on brow style. The goal is to have your skin flake off naturally, rather than form into large scabs.

  • No water on brows for 48hours.

  • Gently wash brows after 48 hours with gentle foam cleanser & warm water and pat dry. Don't rub, pick or scrub. You may shower or bathe normally, but avoid using any soaps or cleansers on the treated area for the first week as they can be detrimental due to strong chemicals & additives.

  • Continue with A&D ointment application until brows are fully healed & scab free.

  • Do not pick or scratch at the dry skin/flakiness; let the skin fall of naturally. Picking can cause scarring.

  • Do not apply make-up to the tattooed area for the first week. Chemicals of any kind may interfere with the healing and color of your tattoo.

  • No excessive sweating for the first week, no exercise, no pool, no sauna, no sunbathing, & no exfoliation of any type.

  • Avoid sun exposure for first week. Exposure to the sun over time can cause fading or discoloration of the pigment once completely healed.

  • Glycolic acid and face peel products must be kept away from the tattooed area.

  • Once the treated area is completely healed, any changes or additions that need to be made can be done at your follow-up appointment no sooner than 4 weeks once healed.

LONG TERM CARE

  • Suggest the client start using a high SPF moisturizer for the life of brows. SPF provides protection from harsh ultraviolet rays that can cause brows to discolor.

  • To avoid an ashy appearance moisturize regularly to help the color stay vibrant.
